One of my Christmas presents was the Logitech MX Revolution mouse. It is probably the best mouse I have ever used, besides the mighty mouse. The mighty mouse was good, but since the scroll ball is a dirt collector, I will have to go with the MX Revolution. It is a wireless mouse that really fits your hand well. I think they call it anĀ ergonomicĀ feel. It runs on 2 AA batteries, but it comes with 2 rechargeable batteries. The batteries it comes with run pretty well because I only had to charge it twice since the 20th of December. The scroll wheel on it scrolls really nice and it has an option where you can scroll it fast, or where it scrolls slower, kind of like it has brakes. It is definitely a good buy that you can get for about $90 to $100 at Best Buy. This mouse works on all Operating Systems without any software.

Last week I was in the Apple Store looking around and I picked up the Apple Wireless Keyboard, which I was originally going to buy after Christmas, and bought it that day. It is such a small and compact keyboard, and it works very well for going over Bluetooth. It runs off of a battery, and it seems to be lasting a while because it has been on since about Wednesday when I got it, and it hasn’t even sucked up 10% of life yet. It is a nice sized keyboard and the absolute best keyboard I have ever owned. I will definitely keep using these Apple keyboards for the years to come. It is a little pricey, $69, but definitely worth every penny you invest in it.

MacBook

Coming up on two weeks ago, my Windows laptop died and I decided to purchase a MacBook. Since then, I no longer have any Window’s computers in my house. I have been using a Mac as my primary OS since June of 2008 and have loved it. This is the second Mac I have every owned and it runs better than any other laptop I have ever owned. The laptop is fast, reliable, and actually works for me. Now, as some of you may know, a few days ago Apple introduced the new MacBook. Since I bought the MacBook at my local Apple Store less than 14 days ago, I was able to bring in the previous model MacBook and get the new one for no extra charge. The new MacBook runs even better due to a little bit faster processor and memory. The LED back lit display and the multi-touch glass track pad is better as well. There is nothing really bad I have to say about it, and I highly suggest purchasing a Mac over a PC any day.

Recently I have been taking pictures with my camera and uploading them directly to my Flickr account. That’s good for some things, but what if I want to take a picture with my digital camera? None of my computers have an SD Card slot to upload pictures from there. So, last week I found this device on Amazon for $1.95 and its called an SDHC Card Reader. Basically it is a USB device with 2 sides. One side with the USB plug-in and the other with a slot for an SD card. It works really well and is a very handy and portable device that everyone can make use of.

A few days ago I bought a new router from Linksys which was the RangePlus WRT110 and it is really great. It has such a wider range and can send out up to a Wireless-G, Wireless-N, and Wireless B signal. It has some new features and more protection and stability compared to my old Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router that I used before. This is definitely one of the best routers I have ever used.
