NetNewsWire

A friend of mine, Dave King, told me about this RSS application called NetNewsWire because he knows I like reading RSS Feeds. It is a Mac RSS application that allows you to read RSS feeds and also sync with your NewsGator account. It has a nice and stable interface. It can handle really big posts with many pictures and is not likely to crash. I’ve been looking for something like this for a long time, and if you are still looking and you have a Mac, get NetNewsWire. It’s free.

CrossOver Mac Pro

Sometime last week or so, Chris Pirillo did an update on Twitter about a website giving licenses for a certain piece of software out for free for a whole day. The software is called CrossOver Mac Pro and I got my license for it a few days ago. This software allows you to use just about any Windows software on your Mac without having to run in a Virtual Machine on a whole other OS. I think it works great because it works like a native app and runs through one of my favorite pieces of software I use on Linux called Wine. It is to late now to get a free license, but you can get it for $69.95.
